29/11 --- We now have a 6 week break over Christmas and the new Year till fixtures re-commence on 13/1.
At the 1/2 way stage of the season, Ric Woodcock has 8 points from 9 games, and Mike Jackson has 5 points from 6 games, with both un-defeated. David Wells is in 3rd place with 4 and a half points from 6 games.

- Register members to play for Acomb Chess Club in competitions which Acomb Chess Club enters.
- Submit results of matches played to the ECF for grading purposes or to other organisations running competitions in which Acomb Chess Club participates.
- Display match results and ECF rating on the club website. (No other personal information will be shared on the website without prior consent).
- Communicating with members for the purposes of running the chess club, including selecting and organising teams and other chess events.
Consistently with this, the contact details provided to us by members may be used to contact them by mail, telephone, e-mail for the purposes of the Chess Club.
